add-ons create a bar easy to see what are you downloaded and downloading.... you can manage files from the bar also you can set notification sound when download completed. this is very useful. must have add-ons!

It was an update to Firefox that knocked out this wonderful add-on that I have used for over a year.
R.I.P. Download Statusbar.

Installed, reinstalled, cycle and repeat, again...nothing-the addon is installed but no longer works.

Of my 20+ extensions, I consider Download Status Bar one of the most important of all. Very useful, in my view. Me likes! Please make it compatible with FF v57+

I've been using this for years, it's always worked. But the interface is very ugly, and it sticks to the bottom of fullscreen videos so you constantly have to clear it.

It is ok, customizable but at the end you have a Download Manager Default Mozilla a little advanced but nothing new or really outstanding besides I like to use my full screen for my explorer and the big bar it is taking some space down there even if I can disable it I will not use it beacuse then what is the point of the add-on?

Just wondering if you will update this add-on to support all future updates of Firefox...

It seems that with the latest v55.0 it is showing up as a LEGACY add-on which means that soon this add-on will stop working...

I love this add-on and would be completely gutted if you stop supporting all new updates of Firefox.

Are you able to provide us with an assurance that you will have this patched to work under the new Firefox rules for add-on's...

I use this addon since long time. But some weeks ago, I got in trouble while downloading files with new, longer filenames. The download doesn't start and cannot be removed from the download status line except by removing the addon (afterwards reinstalling). Removing the download simply from the firefox download list didn't resolve the problem as the file isn't shown there.

It seems to happen with very long or invalid file names.

Maybe this issue can be resolved in a further update...

Hi DL Status bar developper,

I dl a bad file and now my status bar is always showing a number. Cannot reset to zero (see pic). Already tried the option "Clear the download" no result. Already delete download history no result as well.
How to fix this ?

Superb Add-on . . . but, it seems in FF53+ "Play notification sound …" no longer works. Also, the Preview in Options has disappeared.

One hopes Download Status Bar can be updated and thanks to the developer!
