It does what it says. My only issue is a similar Google in English search add-on [Google (Language: EN) posted by Jeremy Morton] which existed before this one was released, and I like that one more. I've tried both. I see a small difference in an extra line of text (useless), but the search were always results are identical. The reason I prefer the other one is that the icon is different than the usually Google search engine icon, which makes it easier to distinguish. At the time of writing this, version 20091121, has the same icon, so I get them mixed up.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (20091121).

Thanks for the Review Mr Spartan.
Jeremy Morton's add-on was, in fact, the first add-on I reviewed and also the last one I tried before giving up and uploading one that did what I wanted it to. The difference between the two does lie mainly in the results. Jeremy's add-on searches for English webpages by default. If you try searching in any other language, the differences should become more obvious. I wanted a site that didn't restrict the results, whichever the language of the query. I wanted an English-only interface, not English-only results. Moreover, I wanted Google.com, wherever in the world i might be, not just an English version of a local site. If you're only interested in English and American results, Jeremy's add-on is perfect for you (no discredit to him or his add-on). As for the icon, "always '.com'" uses whichever favicon Google.com is using at the time of install.
