My Reviews

FaceMoods

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

For changing my search provider or in any other way messing with my browser settings, I give you one star, only because I can't go any lower. Hijacking my browser in any way is unacceptable!

Signature Switch

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Signatures go at the bottom of the page. Headers go at the top of the page. If you want your stuff at the top of the page, then I'd suggest that you look for a header add on or find a stationery add on.

Please stop criticizing the developer of programs for writing a program that does EXACTLY what it's supposed to do. If your used to the the bug that was in Outlook causing it to put the signature improperly at the top then please use that instead.

If you want a larger font or a line break or any other formatting then learn to use HTML but stop complaining when you don't know how to use a program. It works just as advertised. You just need to learn how to use it if these are your complaints.

Read the authors FAQ if you don't understand something BEFORE you start complaining. You can read it here.

I'm sure that people will keep complaining about what they don't understand, but I guess there's just no helping people like that.

Provider for Google Calendar

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't understand the need for this add on. Sunbird and lightning already have this ability. If you don't know how to do it just go to your Google calendar and click on "Sync" in the upper right hand corner of the screen and follow the instructions.

I've been syncing multiple calendars with Google for some time now with no problems using Google's sync instructions.

If this add on does something more, then please indicate that in the description.

Penelope

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Penelope may or may not be a improvement in TB, I don't know, but simply providing a few keyboard shortcuts and icons DOES NOT make it Eudora. I tried Eudora 8 (TB with penelope) and found it was nothing like the real Eudora. Your forever stuck in the 3 pain split view and can't configure it to show windows in windows like Eudora does. That is one of the things that sets the real Eudora apart from TB and outlook. Until Mozilla provides that user interface, you'll only have Eudora's icons, but not the actual users interface that Eudora users have come to love so much!
