... But, the weather date from AccuWeather.com seems to be significantly NOT accurate (Temperature offset by up to 10 degrees!)
High customizable. You can modify the UI any way you like.
A well written Add-on, too bad it relays on AccuWeather.com
Try "Forecastfox l10n":

I love this add-on. It's so convenient. It might not be the BEST weather, but its very accurate and extremely handy. If ever I need to know what today is gonna be like, I just pop my browser open real quick and I don't even need to navigate to a site or anything. The weather is right at my fingertips.

This add-on slows down Firefox considerably especially when you open a new window.
The data provided by accuweather.com differs from weather.com (which in my opinion is more accurate) by at least 5-10 F.
As DogNip has suggested, avoid this unnecessary add-on and just make a bookmark to the page which shows weather for your city.

I have several computers and this add-on is terrific. No matter which computer I'm on my bookmarks are always the same. I've never had a problem. Thanks for a great script!

Мне нравится! Это единственное из рекомендованных, которое я установил и которым пользуюсь. Всем рекомендую.\r\nИ на английском:\r\n\r\nCool!!! :)

The forecast reported in the status bar is usually 10 degrees off. It makes no sense to me because when you go to accuweather.com it reports a different temperature than what this add-on reports even after manually updating the weather data. If you can handle an average accuracy of +/- 10 degrees F and a 30 minute delayed radar, this is for you.

I never had any troubles with the add-on itself, but I couldn't dump it fast enough once I found 1-ClickWeather. Accuweather.com is horrible and should be renamed to inaccuweather.com. I much prefer 1-Click because it's weather.com, which is way more accurate for my area.

I have had forecastfox installed for years. However since August 2007, it causes delays and hang-ups with firefox. As soon as I disable the add-on, performance returns.

There are plenty of web sites, gadgets, and such to get weather info quickly enough. I'm not so weather obsessed that I can't click a bookmark to get the latest info. It works well, just seems too much for your typical needs.

ForecastFox also stopped working for me in London, but this was easily fixed by resetting the location code. I guess Accuweather must have changed them...
Apart from that, an excellent extension - does what it should and is customisable without getting needlessly complicated.

I love the plugin it's just totally inaccurate for both of my preferred regions.Wunderground is much better for me if we could have that this would be an 11!

\r\n I find it works well, and does not really slow the browser,if having problems go to options and adjust refresh time.

I completely agree with DOC ARMSTRONG's comments.
I find this add-on is constantly trying to reload & often just doesn't.
It slows down my browser and I just think my solution to get the weather is just as good and easy:
Go to your favorite weather web page, click your City and just BOOKMARK the page.
When I need to get the weather info I want, I just go to my favorite.
So it requires 2 clicks!
Wow, so hard. But my browser is WAY faster now and I don't have to see that annoying add-on trying to load at the bottom of the page anymore.
Pretty simple.

Like an earlier reviewer said, this has stopped working on my MacBook Pro, and I can't seem to fix it or uninstall. Very irritating.

I love this add-on, having a rough forecast with one view in the bottom line of firefox (2.0.0.11) is simply great.
However, in the last weeks I have encountered an issue: When forecastfox tries to update from Accuweather.com, the update now stucks in 4 out of 5 cases, only a running progress bar remains visible. Sometimes I can restart the update procedure manually, but usually this doesn't work either. Reinstallation of forecastdox remains useless as well. Is this a known issue with accuweather.com or with forecastfox?

A very promising add-on but it is not "highly customizable and unobtrusive" - it is very obtrusive whilst refreshing data and due to it not being customisable, we're stuck with the progress meter.
