I have the same problem as has been reported by others: this extension does not work with version 60.0b10 (32-bit) of Thuderbird. When the dialog is launched there are no e-mail accounts in the list of the accounts tab.

@macone999 To install the add on, go to Tools - Add Ons and go to Extensions. Click on the cog drop down menu and choose 'Install Add-on From File'. You can then find the file on your system and install it.
To use it (once Thunderbird has restarted) go to Tools and there is a new menu item called 'Manually Sort Folders'. You can then reorder the accounts (from the Sort Accounts tab).
The Add-On works perfectly, thanks loads Jonathan.

Ok I know I'm stupid. Once you download, what do you do then?.Tried everything but nothing happening. Its an XPI file so do I open it, when I double click it asks me what I want to do but not tech savvy, have no idea, thanks

Addon says it's compatible up to version 63. I'm using version 60.0b10.
Doesn't work at all. No Accounts show up, and the close button doesn't even work.

Cool -- it worked just as I wanted. Now I can sort the order of my email accounts. Thanks!

Just tried to install this, but got a message:
"The add on downloaded from this site could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt" :-(

Very Nice Add-on!
*Please, could you add the option to move a folder not just a single position, but directly to the top, or to the bottom?*
I have hundreds of folders, and If I rename an existing folder (with your plugin there is no need to use numbers at the beggining for the alphabet sorting) it goes directly to the last position and I need to move it manually with as many clicks as folders are in my inbox.
That would make it a 5-star plugin ;)
Thanks a lot!

Used to work. Now it doesn't. All accounts are sorted EXCEPT my main account, which always appears at the bottom. Very unhappy.

i have wanted to sort my accounts since forever. This is simple and works marvelously. Oh, you do have to be literate to use it. It is a manual,,, not automatic sort. Thank you for this add on. I am using Thunderbird 52.7

Yes this add on does work but you need to take care installing the extension and reading the dialog boxes as you progress through a fairly detailed process.

Just marking the extension as compatible with up to TB 63 doesn't mean it actually works with the current 60.2 beta. Please fix the extension, so that it will be usable again. A bug entry for this exists since more than 4 month.

Only one star until this is fixed.
