Any projection about an upgrade compatible with Thunderbird 91 and above?
This is one of the addons I wouldn't want to move forward without it.
Help testing the update:

Was working fine, but probably thanks to this Thunderbird stopped automatically filtering spam. After I removed the addon it started filtering spam correctly.

Hello, i don't know if here is the correct place to write my question.
I'm Nikolaos from Greece.
I would like to export my mails to csv with this add-ons but when i open the file, i see some strange symbols and not the Greek language. When i export them as pdf or a simple txt, they are right.
Why does it happens? Please could you help me to find a solution?
Thank you very much

Found this really useful after Microsoft stopped supporting Windows Live Mail and then that program stopped working altogether a week ago. Helped me with the transfer of over 5000 emails with many dupes. Thumbs up!

Hope you read this, I have a question. I have two separate profiles and I want to merge them. Your import does not import Thunderbird emails and folders, correct? So first I have to export from one profile to eml files and then import to the other? Do I export to one directory or one file?
Will this keeps all the emails in the correct folders? If there are two folders with same name does it just combine into one?

Superb , the only prob I found was when importing from windows to linux (I suspect transferring from one windows to another would have the same issue?) The inboxes (I have four email accounts) weren't imported, amazing considering that the sub folders and their messages were imported perfectly!!!!

Indispensable for the daily automatic backup of the TB profile folder.

DEEPLY flawed addon.
Importing to an inbox REMOVES existing messages. Can't cope well with IMAP accounts, refuses to move messages into an IMAP folder.
Status messages report "exporting" when importing.
The only reason I give it 2 stars is that it functions at all, but this is NOT safe for your email.

you come into multiple issues, however few details but and this is a review section which really tells them support discussions.
can you post an issue in the repository?
I would like to help solve your problems, but many people are successfully doing what you reference, things are always changing so there's a constant need to keep up.

Experience with ImportExportTools (IET):
E-Mails exported from mail-folders in Mbox-Files.
New Installation of Thunderbird.
Attempt to reimport mails with IET fails with message:
"Reimport to this folder is not possible:
Probably it is a folder of an IMAP-account or a newsgroup".
In fact it is the same folder from which the mails were exported.
Effect of application or IET: Loss of all exported mails!

I think you need some help understanding the use of the extension. if you exported successfully you have not lost any.

Either I have not set up or chosen correct output options or this does not do what I thought it should do from description. I want to export email contents in separate CSV files (each line separated by commas hopefully) not just the headers of the emails.

While I can export a folder, this add on wipes everything off of the original server. When I try importing, I can't import all folders including sent, all mail, and starred.

I used this add-on some time ago to import an .mbox file (downloaded from gmail). Now I've updeated TB to 87.0b2, the add-on doesn't work anymore, and I cannot import new files. Do you know any solution for this problem?

Why is there only 25 emails from each folder being exported when there is more? I am prepared to pay for a version that does ALL emails, but cannot find anything regarding a registration. Added on the 16th March 2021: My mistake, the MBox files were created by a free product and not a full version, only saving 25 emails from each folder, did not know this at the time as these MBox files were sent to me by a family member. Have notified the family member about this as he was not aware of this either. Once he registered the program that created the MBox files, everything worked perfectly with the ImportExportTools NG, very pleased.

I use this to make automated backups of my profiles and it works well. However I make the backups to a shared drive. It would be great if the backups could be encrypted.

I'm looking for ImportExportTools NG users that are using the AUTOMATED BACKLUP feature and in particular users that have selected the INCREMNENAL backup feature.
Background: I've been using the automated FULL backup feature for a while and it works well but I'd like to find some users of the INCREMENTAL feature.

thanks for the review, this is really a potential issue.
if you could post the problem in the repository can go back and forth so that I can help you. if you can also identify the extension versions you have tried. usually this indicates a bad file possibly.
