It can't work stably. I've used it for a time, but recently, it suddently couldn't logon my gmail account. It's been a long time, it shows me my account has been login, but all information is 0 !!!!!! I can't get any news from it.

Auto-login and message counts are disabled for me as well.

FYI:

is where you will find the fix for this problem. Reading some of the thread, it may be related to some changes google made to their gmail service...

Can the recent problems be associated with an upgrade in Firefox? Or some MSN XP security patch? I lost fire.fm about the same time as losing functionality here. I'm using ff: 3.5.30729, and xp did an update about a week ago.

Maybe I'm way off base, but it's a thought.

Had been working great, but now it won't auto sign-in (doesn't check for new messages nor sign-in on gmail when clicked).

This amazing tool is not working in this new version. It is happen the same that was related here. No message counts, and sending us to the Login Screen when we click to open the email. This multi account manager is amazing. I hope they fix it very soon. Very usefull.

This extension was great for a long time but stopped working within the last couple of weeks. I thought maybe it was a fluke or some kind of conflict but it's happening to me on more than one machine. I had hoped it would get fixed or start working again but I finally broke down and went searching for something else... and found "Gmail Notifier." This one has more features and I like it a little better but that one works.

New version just updated will not log into accounts on click. It takes you to a blank login screen instead.

"And no, it has NOTHING whatsoever to do with OpenDNS settings ... irrespective of what Jade J'adore and MarcoSarto have posted. IF (and that's a BIG if), GMM has worked after changing your DNS settings to OpenDNS, then it must only be a coincidence of "their" server getting fixed as FrasierCrane's was."

either way it works for me after using it and just did the same thing for my Mother's laptop. :-)

Just to clear up my earlier review, 5.7.3 works properly for me. It shows me how many new emails I have and when I click on it, it takes me straight to the account.

It doesn't take me to a login screen. I'm currently using it with 5 accounts.

This addon is currently not working properly as kwiejce and cyrik2 have noted. It will not notify you of new mail and will have you sign in when you click on it despite having saved your info and having automatic login checked.

Despite this crippling issue, this addon is honestly one of the best addons I have for Firefox. When working properly It notifies me of new mail and when I click on it I get taken right to my Inbox to read it, plus it supports multiple gmail accounts.

I just hope it gets fixed soon. I will file a report and see if Todd knows of the error, which I'm sure he does.

5.7.3 has been working for me all this time but the latest one on another machine doesn't.

I started having the same problem than kwiejce today (9/26/09).... I'm assuming it is probably due to some change Gmail did because the plugin had no recent upgrade that I noticed...
Todd, any comments? Cheers for a great plugin!

Gmail manager stopped working for me. It shows the accounts in the lower right corner of the browser, but when I click it, it takes me to gmail to log in when before I went straight to my inbox. Also, it always shows 0 for emails even though I have dozen of emails in my inbox. Not sure what happen since it worked before. Checked all my settings, cleared cache, etc, but still broken. The 4 star rating is based solely upon the problem with the new revision

La tristesse durera. Is it just me or does that add-on have some problems with googlemail.com addresses? In some countries, users are not able to get a gmail.com address due to legal reasons.

With the latest revision, there is a problem with passwords. Unless I select the checkbox to save the password, even after entering the password it is not remembered during the session, requiring me to re-enter it any time I click on the icon to open gmail. It has always worked prior to this update and is one of my favorite extensions. The 4 star rating is based solely upon the problem with the new revision
