Does not work with cyrillic passwords :(

Great add-on as it is simple to use and easy to export and import passwords, (also a life saver when you have to do a fresh install of Firefox). I am using FF 3.6.2.
As other people have reviewed, there is no masterpassword to use the add-on meaning that anyone who can access the password exporter file can gain access to all of your user names and passwords.

This add-on *does* respect and require the master password if it is enabled. HOWEVER--the add-on does appear to disable/clear the master password configuration at install time, so you must reconfigure it afterward.

Great program, though as one person pointed out there's one ginormously glaring bug - it doesn't require you to enter a master password when exporting even though one is set. Makes me kind of want to uninstall it as soon as i'm done.

"XML" error when trying to import, either an xml or a csv file.
Repeated several times. I'd guess the author must know by now but just in case:
FF 3.6.3 on both computers (newish Intel Mac was the source, trying to copy the current passwords to my old G3 Powerbook to take a trip with it)
There's a FAQ link at the Password Exporter home page for a debugging tool, but when you go to that page the debugger is no longer available.
Anyone know an alternative? Or a brute force copy (which files, can I just copy them out of the Profile, put them on a USB stick, and put them into the other computer's profile to overwrite the passwords)?

Used it with FF3.6 on Fedora 12, worked perfectly but not for non Latin characters. I have some of my user names and passwords in Arabic language, and in the exported file these Arabic characters where replaced with random Latin characters. So can you please update your add-on to support Unicode.

Tried to install PW Exporter, it failed (Win XP fully updated, Firefox 3.6). Installed no error, restart Firefox. In "tools-> security" no new button. In "Tools->Add-ons" Password Exporter shows installed, options do not display, only locks the system. Uninstalled reinstalled and reinstalled Password Exporter several times, rebooted system and repeated installation, no luck. Tried same on my laptop (Vista) - no problem. Any thoughts? Thank you, Gerry

Hey Justin,
Just want to say thanks for this addon as it helped me when I received a new laptop and needed my passwords to be migrated over. It all happened without any issues.
Good on ya mate!

I just spent an hour trying to work out why none of my imported passwords work. I finally realised that when exporting passwords this extension replaces several characters (even ASCII characters FFS) with escape sequences. Data integrity fail.

Would be nice if it could edit the password like Saved Password Editor 0.4, https://addons.mozilla.org/vi/firefox/addon/60265. Thank so much !

This should be a built in feature of Firefox. Very simple, yet an effective addon!

Well, although it didn't work for me but I am sure it is a good add-on.
The reason I say this is because the program doesn't seems to take care of unicode/i18n environment. I have a couple usernames using the BIG5 coding and those messed up the add-on.
I hope the add-on will get this fixed by the next release!
Cheers!
