Hallöchen! Ich wollte nur Bescheid geben, daß das Add-on auch mit SeaMonkey 2.1b3 ohne Probleme läuft. Echt saubere Arbeit, danke an den Entwickler!

Works fine but I am going to hold off until facebook integration is added. Hardly anyone I know uses Gravatar. Everyone has Facebook.

COULD be good... I use TB 3.1.2 for Mac and found it Glitchy. Some contact photos not shown, Others not editable from the menu.... etc etc.

Great add-on. Two comments:
1) If you're actually going implement support for the CompactHeader add-on, please let us decide the photo sizes for both views, not just hide it in compact view.
2) I would love to see the facebook photo grabbing feature.

A great add-on, makes my friends' e-mails much more personal. One thing I would appreciate a lot:
to hide the photo if I switch to compact mode via extension CompactHeader. (It's the +/- icon.)
Thanks in advance.

Very fine add-on, 5 stars. I was wondering if you can actually download the contact image from gmail (like in gmail chat). Thank you and very good job!

Great add-on. Five stars

Only thing I'd add to it would be, for newsletters and such, it always defaults to generic. Can't blame it as "donotreply@..." wouldn't be in my address book.
I'm wondering, though, if using the favicon from their website might work.

Not compatible with 3.1 rc1 yet, can we please have a build for that? :)

Any chance of making this work with TB 2.0, I tried TB 3.0, but it's so sluggish that I had to go back to TB 2.0, I know A LOT of people that have done this, so I know there's still an audience.

This could be a good replacement for MessageFaces, and installed well in Thunderbird 3.0.4, but ... I pointed the local store of images at the same directory/folder as that I used for MessageFaces under TB 2.0.0.24 (& earlier). DCP found the files in there, but once it found the first (of only 4) image it doesn't remove it, or change it, when I move to a different message.

Most of my testing is on a Newsgroup that I am a member of.

The thumbnails do change against email address when posting a new message though.

Love this add-on! A+
Looking forward to wish list item:

Cool idea, but kind of pointless as is. It should be able to pull contact photos from social sites like Facebook, MySpace, etc, like MOTOBLUR does on my Motorola CLIQ phone. Otherwise they have to be manually entered. Too much work.

It isn't that Feeds don't show the image, the files need to be named with embedded "s if the Feed name contains spaces, for example I have "Hacker News".gif which is just the favicon.ico from that site and it works. What would be nice is if a feed could override the name of the sender of the feed item.

Even nicer would be support for gravatars.

Another great addon, that takes its share of transforming firefox from a basic mail client into a perfect one. Thumbs up!
