Awesome.
This is the porn surfers dream! :-)
No longer do you have to open each image and save it manually, this program opens all the links you select and then saves all the images.
Fab. 5 star!

Very useful addon, but, unfortunately, incompatible with sister addon Firefusk due unsupported DATA: URI scheme used in Firefusk
Bugreport sent to author
I can't get Firefusk 1.6 to work in Firefox 3 and so am unable to see why Save Images is incompatible.

looks like a great addon but for me it failed each time using latest version with ff 2.0.0.15...told me it saved 61 images and yet there was only 8 in the saved directory...what am I doing wrong people?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.1).Please could you email me your settings for Save Images (send a screen capture), what operating system you are using, version of Firefox and a list of other add-ons that you have installed. Also possibly the URL(s) of the website(s) you are trying to save images from and whether this occurs on all websites you are saving from or only some of them.
There have been a few people who have experienced this problem and unfortunately I have not been able to track down this bug yet.

The version of Save Images for Firefox 3.0 is currently under review and should be available shortly. Sorry for the delay.

Great AddOn, very useful! I love having the ability to save large groupings of images at the same time, and even sort out those I don't want. For example, if many pages are open, and there is one large image on each of them that I want to save, I can tell Save Images to save all of the images in those particular tabs with at least a certain file size and/or dimensions. Very handy, I recommend it highly to any of you who enjoy perusing images online and collecting your favorites.
I don't know how to download the files again so I can edit them so it will work with release version 3, though. I no longer have the old files to work with.

Hello,
just edit the file install.rdf in the xpi file (it's a normal zip file with another extension) and set the maximum supported ff version. Run's fine in 3.0 final.

I echo the cry for this to be updated to version 3.
Also how would I be able to troubleshoot the shortcuts not working. Mucking around with FF2 and then FF3 and lost the ability to perform shortcuts
