Dzięki za pomoc! Nie widziałem tej opcji w dodatki > gCotactSync > opcje. Zmieniam ocenę i życzę powodzenia w dalszym tworzeniu :)

Fonctionne très bien, mais prévoir une courbe d’apprentissage et quelques tests pour vérifier que tout fonctionne correctement (faire un backup de vos contacts au cas où!). Manque une traduction française et une meilleure documentation.

Great support. My problem is that I kept seeing the "First sync....merging contacts" and it never went away. So I asked for help and this solved it:
Thanks for contacting me first :). It sounds like you probably ran into an error which caused gContactSync to stop trying to merge contacts (the status bar contains the last message it displayed).
Could you go to gContactSync -> Preferences -> General and make sure "Log errors in the Error Console" is checked? If it isn't, you will need to check it, click OK, then restart Thunderbird and try to sync again.
Next, go to Tools -> Error Console. Click on the Errors tab. If you see anything with "gcontactsync" please right-click each one and click Copy, then paste in an e-mail to me.
Also, please click on "First sync...merging contacts" then copy/paste the very start of the log where it shows preferences/settings and all address books, and the bottom of the log.

gContactSync 2.0.5 not working with Thunderbird & Enigmail & TorBirdy/TOR and TorBirdy/JonDo Anomynization
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.5).Unfortunately I'm not sure if it even can work in that environment. Sometimes privacy comes at the expensive of convenience ;).

Even though I read the FAQ, I didn't understand a cookie exception had to be added for google.com. Instead of being buried on the developer's page, this info should be available on the extension's "new account" wizard.

I read the FAQ but fake email addresses are ugly, the search will contemplate these addresses... other extension do not add fake addresses...
Moreover multiple address book feature DO NOT works with multiple Google account. The OAuth authentication is done for the first account configured, other accounts will never syncronize. This is probably a bug. Can I help in some way to fix it?
I agree they are ugly but the alternative is a broken address book. You can sync groups with individual address books to work around this. I'm also considering an option that would not sync contacts without e-mail addresses in version 3.0.
Multiple address books with multiple accounts is working fine for me, but you may have hit a bug that I haven't found yet. Could you turn on Verbose Logging in the preferences, try to sync, then send me the log? http://www.pirules.org/extensions/submit_error.php?ext=gContactSync

Fails to recognize Google Apps addresses as Google addresses which have contacts to synchronize on the first display.
But, if I open the gContactSync wizard again, I can select the account.
Could you send me the log file over e-mail? Are you sure you entered the exact same e-mail address in the wizard and the OAuth page from Google?

- Replace the empty email addresses with nobody ....
- Replaces home, work, cell by first, second, third ...
- Only one possible address book
- No translation
- Google contacts 0.7.12 was 10,000 times better.
Please read the FAQs before using this add-on, and especially before posting a review. Also, try to consider this is released for free so it's infeasible for me to provide translations into every language.

The generous folks at Babelzilla have donated their time and talent to translate gContactSync into several languages. I'm not fluent in every language and it's hard to justify paying for translations when I release this add-on for free. If you want to translate or recruit a translator for your language of choice you are free to do so on Babelzilla and I'll gladly include it in a future release.

Impressive. I suggest you look at the FAQs and give it some time and maybe that ratio will improve. :)

I am so happy with this addon which will also help conservative clients who are gradually getting free of the exploitation of Outlook. This is the 3rd of 3 vital pieces: finally solid contact sync in addition to IMAP & calendar sync. The "Google Contacts" plugin failed recently, probably because OAuth support was lacking, so I found this & it is like a breath of fresh air. Initially there was one odd moment when a bunch of blank contacts synced onto Tbird... but the second sync got rid of them and everything has been perfect since.

This used to be the best way to sync Google Contacts. Now in version 2.0.4 (on Thunderbird 31.6.0) if I modify a contact's email address in Google Contacts, it never gets modified in Thunderbird. I've submitted a bug report with log to the developer, but he hasn't responded.

v1.1.2 used to work fine :-) In case of problems, reinstall it from the "View other versions" https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/gcontactsync/versions/
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0).Google deprecated their old authentication API, so versions < 2.0 will stop working soon (April?). Next time you leave a review please leave some details. If you are having issues please e-mail me or post on the forum so I can try to help.
