Full Address Column is a very important add-on and it should be a standard feature in Thunderbird. It is absolutely a must for anyone who wants to identify spam and phishing emails.

On an old computer, the update to version 115.2.0 retained this extension, while deactivating it. But it still works (!) and I can still obtain the real email address of the senders (the only useful one, because the one indicated by default in the application is just a simple comment and can be spoofed easily: I sometimes receive spam from my own name!). Therefore I am in the process of seeing how to reintroduce this extension on the stations where it could not be reinstalled.
If I can't, I'll have to reinstall the old version of Tunderbird where it was supported, or more likely use another mail program...

Dear Ikosson, Please update the Full address add-on for 115 version. The 115 is such a pain without this funcionality and make fishing so easy. No idea why the developers like to open easy access for criminals...
Please help,
Best
Hans
I wish I could :-(

This extension does exactly what I wanted, but not in the best way. I am not sure if it is possible, but making it a mouse hover-over instead of adding more columns would be ideal. Or, allowing both: Additional column(s) and/or hover-over. (If you are not clear on what I mean: You should be able to hover over the "From:" field and see the @sender/email addr). Yahoo webmail is a good example.)

Eins der besten Add-ons!
Der wichtigste Grund für mich, dass ich wieder auf 102 zurück gewechselt habe.
Ist mir schleierhaft warum das nicht der Standard von Thunderbird ist.

This is a very good add-on. Though this very basic functionality should actually be available in every email software. Only because the Thunderbird developers completely missed the importance of this functionality it does'n work at this moment.
Let's hope that the proposed changes to re-enable the feature that is needed for this add-on will be in place soon. Or even better: add the functionality to TB itself...
@lsdkfösdlknf and others: Please don't blame the devs of this add-on for a stupid fault made by the TB devs, by rating it low.

Translation:
One of the most important features that an email program should have. Anyone who wants to identify spam and phishing emails that "slip through" the filter must know what the actual email says.
Unfortunately, the plugin only works up to version 102.XX, since the switch to a new code base means that the plugin no longer works from 115.XX onwards.
It's a shame that an email program "for nerds" doesn't provide such an elementary function by default.
I have downgraded back to version 102 again. I hope that this function will be available again for the new versions. Implemented or as a plugin, although I would prefer the former...

Nicht kompatibel mit TB 115.
Zuletzt erfolgreich getestet mit TB 102.13.0

I love having the @Sender information on the Thunderbird view list, and wish it was a standard option. I'm setting up my new computer and had to go through this add-on procedure again - when I finally remembered doing it on my old PC!

Great add-on. I love Thunderbird but this should be standard feature.

Indispensable when using multiple aliases (with simplelogin, anondaddy...) .

Fixes what needs to be a built in feature for any respectable mail client. Thank you!

This add-on is completely safe; I audited the code on 5th November 2021, and there is nothing that shouldn't be there. If you want to do the same, then search for it at addons.thunderbird.net, download the .xpi file, extract it as an archive, and inspect the .js and .json files. (The entire addon is only 5kB.)
It works exactly as advertised; two new column types become available - sender and recipient addresses. This should be built into Thunderbird; it is inexplicable that it isn't.
Thank you for writing this add-on.
(Note to developer - it may increase trust if you reduce the requested permissions.)

Useful add-on. It helps me do group and eliminate spam. Thanks.
Maybe in feature will be possibility to display column with domain only.

I will never understand why the function this addon brings to Thunderbird isn't there by default. Thank you very much for updating this.
