Many thanks for helping me rid my ebay pages of useless stuff they push on us poor punters.

Brilliant!
But it could do with having a right-click 'Block Element' context menu item, like Google Chrome has.

A very useful addition to Adblock Plus, and it works also with Adblock Edge.

Been using this add-on for at least a year. It does what the author says it will do. Glad to have it on board. Good job.

This is what i'm exactly looking for!!!
Working awesome!!!
(Even we can just use Firebug to REMOVE the elements actually, i'm LAZY to bring up Firebug to just to delete an element. Plus, Firebug can't help for permanent deletions)
CHEERS THIS!!!!
VERY HELPFUL!

How refreshing that I no longer have to endure those annoying, grayed-out pop-ups that insist on my subscribing to a site in order to view a page.

LA manera mas fácil de bloquear no solo anuncios, si no también elementos molestos o adictivos de paginas web.

One of the first things I install on every computer I work with. After using this and Adblock Plus for a while, it's shocking to use a friend's computer and see how many ads you normally never see.

I just hope the creator keeps up with this. He hasn't updated this in over a year in and a half. I've noticed Adblock addon's cause Firefox to open very slowly since FF v20.0+.

First thing I did was try to hide Youtube comments. For that alone, it deserves 5 stars.

It should be included initially into the Ad_block. And ohwhrgd those letters covering part of screen! They should be optionally off.

I'd give this addon 20 stars if I could: it's terrific. Those little drop down menus are a pain, and there are usually more than one of them per site (close one, get another.) I literally use this every day, and just blocked three on one news site.

As said below, Wladimir Palant is a genius :)This gets rid of all those awkward fake-toolbar type things that clutter web pages at the top or bottom of the page, stay fixed there when you scroll and attempt to get you to "share" stuff (e.g on some blog platforms such as over-blog)
