Just the ability to remove ads and to stream results alone make this a no brainer.
There is a video brief overview here:

Lots of nice options, separated into individual prefs. This is helpful, since some of the options, like favicons and stream results, can slow things down, especially if you like to grab 100 results at a time, like me. At one point, I had a problem with streaming results - they appear to really hit google hard at the 100 results setting - to the point where google was providing capcha verifications before showing the results, as it thought there was spyware involved. All the other options seems to enhance without getting in the way. Nice.

Google Suggestion don't works !

Excellent add-on. Great job.
Feature request for future versions (Maxthon-plugin inspired): add also a "search Google with quotes" option on top of the "search with other search engines" option (i.e. Yahoo, Ask, AllTheWeb, etc.). It'd save you the time to go back to the search box the write quotes to retry your search with them.

I've just installed your add-on as, like many people, I am becoming concerned about Google privacy. I like CustomizeGoogle, it has useful features.
Could you make "Query Suggestions" a sticky preference? This would be very helpful. Also is there anything CustomizeGoogle could do can do to disguise or anonymize my IP address when I visit Google? Something like a part of FoxyProxy just for proxying a user when visiting Google?

I try those options :
1. Go to http://www.google.com (if you see the Firefox logo on the page, you're on the wrong site and it won't work)
2. Click on preferences
3. Make sure "Provide query suggestions in the search box" is selected.
4. Click Save Preferences (yes, you have to click this even if the above option was already selected.
5. (optional) Set the browser's homepage to the current page.
But unfortunately on google.ca the options #3 is not there, so there is no way to make it work again.
Please help I love this feature of google suggest.
Thank you

OK, here's the review part... I have been loving CustomizeGoogle for a long time :)
But since people tend to go to the addon page to find fixes, here's what' I'm really posting about....
For anyone frustrated by the Google suggestion feature not working any more, here's how I got it working again (it sounds like Google changed the way it is activated and the old way doesn't work any more).
Thanks

Great extension. But now that Google has apparently turned on the "Google suggest" by default, it would be nice to be able to turn it *off* using CustomizeGoogle. I find this 'feature' highly annoying.

After updating, when I press the "filter" on result page, and then press "confirm" to set the filter, a blank page then pops up, what's wrong with this?
It's so annoying.....

Thanks for this exceptional tool. I think it's an awesome add-on to Mozilla! Keep up the good work! I've enjoyed using it, and I thank you every search I make. In fact, it's the only reason I don't mind searching now. I have yet to use a more- effective-user-friendly tool. May God Bless you!
