I only this this a five, because it seems that it only works if there are duplicate emails received. I was merging email files from OL and OLE and it could not differentiate the same messages regardless of the settings. So I hope this will be fixed in future versions.

Saved me a lot of time and space. :) Recommended for people with not so reliable connection where you get multiple messages for each download.

Btw, I tested it with Thunderbird 2.0b2, and it works fine so far.
