I also experienced the same issue with 2.6.1 not working in the Linux enviroment with Thunderbird 24.0. As suggested I found and downloaded 2.6 and applied this downgrade to Thunderbird. It works fine now. My question here is HOW do I STOP it from updating... Each time I restart my system I find 2.6.1 re-installed. Is there some way like making the directory only writtable by root or something similar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Love this. Use it to organize work as I annotate subject lines to better organize emails. The older TB Header Tools Extension 0.7.2 stopped working after I updated to TB 24.

My thanks to the developer for working on this. Hope it continues to work :)

Tag Toolbar / Tag Popup

Very nice add-on (once I figured out how to use it). A great tools for keeping email organized. ADD-ONs are one of the best things about Thunderbird and Firefox. I love the Mozilla line and will NEVER go back to IE or OUTLOOK.
