Like adding source url, an option to add the date and time at the end of copied text would be nice. It might be important to see the date when looking back to notes taken.

Thank You, Thank You! This is the best quick note taking add-on going. It remembers all your notes, has up to 6 separate note spaces that are colour customizable. Have it in the side bar or as a floating window - both work great on different things. I am so pleased with it that I wish all browsers would have a simple, no fuss note taker like this. In side bar mode it doesn't take up too much space and all the relevant info you wrote down is right there. Text, URL's can be c/p and that's helped me a lot. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you again to all the dev's! :) (it works on Waterfox 64Bit).

Useful ...and, THAT's what it is all about !Rudimentary except for selection of ~tabs~ for each note. An icon on the Add-on Bar provides opportunity to chose a note 1.) in the sidebar, 2.) in a tab, or 3.) floating (like a Post-It Note). Once you make that choice, individual notes can be placed in up to six sub-window tabs. Font type and size are configurable for each of those note tabs. ( Where these notes are saved on your computer can also be individually configured for each of the six tabs. )

Your extension is very useful, thank you. Just one thing though that I find pretty annoying. I use QN mainly to translate pages into French and when I use shortkeys to enter special characters it sometimes copies the character onto another tab so I guess your extension must use shortkeys which interfer with the chartable codes. Any way to fix this ? I couldn't find any options to disable shortkeys in QN.

QuickNote fits nicely in to Thunderbird, works well, and no crashes. But I don't think it's quite finished yet. Please could we have more than 6 notes - I would like to be able to right-click somewhere and select "New Note". Also could we have list and icon views of the notes in the main QuickNote tab.

Is it possible to add counting words and letters in statusbar?

Very good add-on. MUCH better than any other note-taking add-on that I've tried. Two problems however:
(1) If you open it in the sidebar (for example), make some changes, save those changes, close the sidebar, then open it in a "float window", it will lose the changes you made. Apparently, all three ways to display the notes are loaded at the same time (when Firefox starts rather than when the notes are opened and displayed???), so changes made in one display mode do not apply to the other display modes.
(2) I tried the development version to see if problem #1 had been fixed, but I found a new problem instead - the captions on the note tabs do not display correctly.
Sorry, but I can't reproduce your problems. I'm using QuickNote day by day and never experienced behavior described in the point 1. Development versions are development versions...

I use this every day. I love it! I wish I could have more than 6 notes...say 10-20 and scroll if the tabs take up the whole screen.

One of the best note software I've seen for firefox.
One feature I'd request is the ability to set the sidebar on the right side of the firefox window instead of the left side.

This is a case where simple is beautiful. Of course you can also customize it (colors, font, etc) but it's almost perfect even with the default settings

Could you add a option than can disable spell check please.
