Helpful extension! The button beneath the headers takes up a lot of real estate. Should probably be hidden if attachment count is zero, and smaller when displayed.

You’re absolutely right that UI space under the headers is valuable. In the current version there’s actually an option to turn that button off entirely if you don’t want it there. You can find it in the add-on’s options/preferences page and disable the header button while still keeping the rest of the functionality.

I’m also looking into making the button more compact and/or only showing it when it’s really needed, so your comment is very helpful for shaping the next update.

Very handy tool ... thank you!

Please consider making display of the in-message button with Subject, From, Date and the preview button a configurable option. I'd prefer to save that screen real estate for message content, and select the Image Preview toolbar button when preview is needed.

A new version is currently pending approval. This update introduces an option to hide the in-message preview button, and adds support for PDF and TIFF previews. Thank you for your continued support!
