Nice.
Works even in TB3 if you disable the compatibility check.
You can combine this addon with the downloadable animated skype emoticons (https://developer.skype.com/Download/SkypeEmoticons) :-)

When you compase a message, you'll see a new smilie-button. Just click it, click "change" to set the image directory and you're all set

But the infos here are out of date.
Version 1.0.3 (TB 3.0.*) is already available: http://www.xzer.net/harvest/sendfilter/
And it seems that this functionality is going to be implemented into TB 3 soon:

What a nice idea!
Unfortunately it won't show up in my Firebug 1.4.5.
Are you still working on it? And is there any chance that you are going to integrate a color picker with more ... uhm... colors? ;-)
