A similar functionality once was removed from the browser (in the Age of Idiocy, that Firefox suffered much from). And that's why Extended Link Properties appeared (and it got very popular, just as a proof that Mozilla's management took a wrong decision to remove that functionality from the browser).
I don't know the reasons why that add-on was disabled on AMO, but it is very nice, that it has now been revived and is being developed!

Could you, please, improve the Firefox's behavior a bit?
Firefox has a built-in function located "Tools -> Options -> Tabs (a tab) -> Open new windows in a new tab instead (a checkbox)" - if you check it, then the built-in Firefox popup blocker ("Tools -> Options -> Content (a tab) -> Block pop-up windows (a checkbox)" will stop catching popups, as they will get opened as tabs.
I know your extension can forbid selected sites to open new tabs using JavaScript, but I don't like to manually put the sites to the black list.
Instead, I would prefer, if your extension could make Firefox do both:
1. open new windows as new tabs instead.
2. catch popups that request Firefox to open a new window (not a new tab) using Javascript.
Could you, please, add that?
P. S.: even AdBlock+ now is available as a restartless add-on, maybe you could make your one restartless too?

nope, I think you need just to use a "dirty" profile with lots of installed extensions, scripts, styles etc.

Why does it still use status bar, not addon-bar? The elements in status bar (unlike addon-bar items) are not movable.
