This enables you to drag any file to Thunderbird, stay 1 second on the compose button to open composer window and then drop the file to the attachments pane.
So you do not have to begin a new message and attach the file later.
This is commonly known way from many other applications! To reduce problems, I decided to only capture dragging over compose button in toolbar.
