A popup window for selecting any folder when the folder pane is hidden.
Thunderbird doesn't have any possibility to switch to other folders when the folder pane is completely hidden. Hiding the folder pane frees quite a lot of screen real estate, allowing for much wider thread and message windows. The Folder Selection Box just adds this functionality.
After installation there's a new entry "Select folder" in the view menu (or Ctrl-D) which pops up the folder selection dialog.
