It works just fine in both browsers you mentioned, I use it myself every day. Please create an issue at https://github.com/JustOff/active-stop-button/issues or a topic at https://forum.palemoon.org/viewforum.php?f=46 and I'll try to assist you; reviews on AMO are not a suitable place for support requests.

This is a necessary extension, IMO, and update 1.5.1 fixed the problem with EscCloseTab compatibility. Outstanding.

This doesn't seem to do anything with Firefox 11 on Mac OS X (10.6.8).

The preferences are not very useful, either. A ctrl-click and a right click (usually a two-finger click on the trackpad) are usually the same thing and they open the contextual menu for the toolbars, which is where one can hide the toolbars or edit the icons on them.

Single click isn't great, because one might not want to stop all the tabs with a single click.

So I chose double-click, but it doesn't appear to do anything.

I'd like to see support for shift-click, or opt/alt-click.

Although it works very well as described, unfortunately it also "breaks" Status-4-Evar Add-on's ability to show the progress indicator in the location bar. This results in the horrible skinny progress bar displacing the web address to the right side while a page loads - UGLY! If I have to choose between having a button that I only use occasionally against something I have to look at everytime I load a new page unfortunately Active Stop misses out. I'm disappointed because I really do miss the separate Stop/Reload buttons.

А если объединить кнопки обновить и стоп, и чтобы при обновлении рядом не появлялась кнопка стоп. И при нажатии ПКМ останавливалось обновление всех вкладок (ЛКМ остановка обновления активной вкладки). Получится одна многофункциональная кнопка, и места меньше на панели займёт

I like this add-on, very useful to muzzle sites that get a little jittery by overdoing animated GIFs.

The Stop command on the page right-click menu is not reenabled, though, which means you don't get the benefit of this add-on on popup windows that do not have a navigation toolbar. I'd like to see this added to a future version.

What can I say? This extension is a lifesaver. Whether it's stopping multiple tabs from loading at the same time (ie. due to restarting or crashing) or media with heavy file sizes, it has been a very appreciated part of my browsing experience. The Mozilla team should implement this add-on's features for FF4.

P.S. Ironically, an older version of IE had the ability to stop gifs from animating.

Conflicts with EZNav extension.

Unfortunately, this extension intercepts the middle-click on the Stop button that EZNav uses to do its thing.

Also, I seemed to have a problem getting right-click on the Stop button to stop all tabs.

I think I may have installed this by simply changing the max Version line in the xpi, as noted by a previous reviewer (but really, can that make Firefox delete your whole profile? Corrupt your OS? Maybe it will also cause the computer to explode?).

At any rate, maybe it doesn't have some functions, but I find it great just for the simple means of stopping annoying flashing forum avatars and signatures and stuff like that. Excellent.
