I agree with TiagoTiago. I'd very much like to sort via sender (ascending) and then by date (descending), so I can get the most recent email first from an author, and then the second most from the same author, and then the third most. Haven't figured out a way to do this easily without running a search for the particular author and then sorting by date.

Thanks for using and downloading the addon. It's really not doing anything other than giving you an easier way to change the default sorting preferences. Features like secondary sorting are way outside its scope; if you'd like to see such a feature change, please file a new feature request in Bugzilla.
