I like the idea of this plugin quite a lot. However I was not sure how it would work. To see what happens when it detects a virus I made an easy test.
I created a small page with explanation where you can download a test-virus, (see: http://www.hanckmann.net/?q=node/59).

Thanks for this very useful add-on!

Thanks! Please note that the official EICAR website provides a variety of files containing the (harmless) EICAR virus signature which you can download to test your Fireclam installation:
