Extra Format Buttons adds more buttons to Thunderbirds Compose window.
It adds the following buttons directly onto the Format Toolbar in Thunebird's Compose Window:
It also makes this toolbar customizable (it is not by default) and supplies some buttons that can be added, if you open the Customize Toolbar window (right click toolbar and click customize). They are the following:

- Font Size (in pixels)
- Strike Though
- Sub Script
- Super Script
It also makes this toolbar customizable (it is not by default) and supplies some buttons that can be added, if you open the Customize Toolbar window (right click toolbar and click customize). They are the following:
- 4 text align buttons - Left, Right, Centre and Justify.
- Highlight Text.
- Format Code.
- Rewrap Text
- 5 Color buttons.
It also adds an extra toolbar (hidden by default), in case there is not enough room.
The color buttons work similar to the default color button, with some differences. They remember their last color and apply that to the text/background. If you right click on the top box, it sets the text color, and on the bottom it sets the page background. If you left click on a box it opens a window to change the color. If you double click it applies both colors at once.
Note that there is a small issue, that they will not show their default colors until you restart.
The highlight color button, currently has a small problem from the limitations of Thunerbird's HTML editor, in that it can't clear part of a highlighted section, you need to select the whole highlight and clear it. We are looking on a work around to that.
