ਇਸ ਐਡ-ਆਨ ਬਾਰੇ
Updated to version 1.4. The following are the changes in version 1.4
[Functionality Improvement] :
1, Fraudulent emails are now sorted into trash and quarantine folders
per email account in Thunderbird when multiple accounts are
registered. This addresses issues where sender addresses would
change when replying to false positives.
2, An "Empty Folder" option has been added to the right-click context
menu of the quarantine folder.
3, Added an exception setting in the options screen that performs
only a minimal spoofing check for specific domains.
[Specification Improvement]:
1, By adding a session feature, we've achieved a significant speed
improvement in the fraudulent email detection process.
2, Other inefficient processing optimizations.
[Bug Fix]:
1, Add-on initialization fails when no country codes are set to be
excluded.
2, Fixed patterns where fraudulent email checks were unintentionally
bypassed.
■ Function Overview
In recent years, the number of cross-border fraudulent emails and spam
emails has been increasing.
Thunderbird has an existing spam filter, but it cannot prevent all spam
emails, and it may filter out legitimate emails.
This add-on provides a way to isolate and delete fraudulent emails from
a different perspective than existing functions.
(For example, it has been found that in Japan, almost all fraudulent emails can
be deleted simply by filtering out emails from China.)
■ Display Language
* Supports English, Japanese, and German.
(However, you can set it to any country in the world.)
■ List of functions
1. Operates when reception is performed
2. Identify the country from the header information of the received
email and mark it for deletion.
3. Identify the country from the IP address of a received email
and mark it for deletion
4. Identify the country from the links in the body of received
emails and mark it for deletion (if a suspicious
redirect URL is detected, the email will also be marked if for deletion)
5. Mark emails for deletion using cross-domain approvals
6. Isolate unexpected emails that do not belong to allowed or
excluded countries
7, Set the actual process for emails that are for deletion (immediate deletion or trash)
