I have also installed the Classic Theme Restorer addon, so perhaps that is also necessary in order to see Forecastfox. In any case it definitely works for me.

In fact there is no problem in Firefox 29, just that Firefox has labelled Forecastfox as being incompatible. In about:config create new Boolean called "extensions.checkCompatibility.29.0" and set it "false". Restart Firefox 29 and Forecastfox will be working just as well as always.

Since yesterday (26th Sept.), snippets no longer work for me on any of my 4 computers under Linux, Windows and with Firefox 17, 24 or 25. Only solution I can find is to install Gmail Notifier (startless) which shows snippets, but I much prefer Gmail Manager.
