This seems to be a very useful an must-to-have addon. Unluckily, I have already upgraded to 68.* 64bit. and can't install it. When will a new version be available?

This is "must have" add-on for Thunderbird. Built-in master password protection is ugly and protect only save passwords, nothing else. We need a tool to protect whole Thunderbird with passwords, contacts, messages...

This used to be the BEST add-on.
Now, since I recently updated to v68.4.2 (the 64-bit version is so smooth and slick!), MasterPassword+ is no longer available....
Please please please update this add-on!!!!!!!

One of the most useful addons in means of usability and security.

At thunderbird startup the master password has to be entered only once and thunderbird won't open before entering the correct master password.


Sidenote:
Recently a bug occured after an update and the developer provided a bugfix within some days, so everything works fine again. My acknowledgment for that fast reaction.

Since two days ago, somehow when Master Password+ is enabled, my correctly entered Master password is no longer accepted.

When I deactivate the extension and restart Thunderbird, entering the exact same password as before does work/is accepted by Thunderbird. But re-enabling it exhibits the same problem.

Not just on one but both of my machines, which incidentally have completely different master passwords.

Something got broken here, I'm writing here so others can see it if they have the same problem, and hopefully the developer can fix this soon!

Before you start complaining this extension is not compatible with Firefox 57+, learn WHY Mozilla ruined own product by removing XUL add-ons and replacing it with crippled-down API.

I used this addon with Pale Moon for years and it still works - but it seems it COULD be incompatible to FEBE.

Could you check that, please?

If it's crashing Firefox when show prompt on startup is enabled, try wait a few seconds before entering password. It's an issue in Firefox itself, when initialization interrupted with a modal window. I'm trying find a solution for that, so far no luck.
