I had great hopes for this addon but upon installing it on 56 (yes I know it says tested up to 48) it doesn't work, it generates no page when you type about:addons-memory and provides an error of an illegal call in the console:

NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE: Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIIOService2.newChannelFromURI2] in main.js at line 17

So unfortunately it seems it is quite dead and hence not helpful at all, if a modification can be made to bring it up to code, that would be great and I am happy to re-evaluate it.

This just won't work for me. I put "about:addons-memory" (without the quotes, copied so I didn't typo it) in the URL bar and it just reloads the page I'm on. I turned off searching from the URL bar to keep it from doing a search on the phrase instead of loading the add-on, but that still didn't work. FF 56.03, Windows 7, FWIW.

If someone has advice that helps me get it working, I'll revise the review.

К сожалению разработчики Firefox не удосужились сделать диспетчер задач как в chrome поэтому без этого дополнения невозможно обойтись. Жаль что в новых версиях firefox оно уже не работает. Надеюсь что его портируют на webextension. Спасибо разрабочику за труды и поддержку.

Helpful from time to time. Uses a fair bit of memory itself, so install it, and then enable/disable as needed.

I know mozilla changes too frequently and it's pain in the as* for dev to maintain their add-on. I empathize with you. I hope it will be compliant with future firefox release. I love it.
