About this Add-on
Quill brings AI writing assistance directly into Mozilla Thunderbird. Select any text in your email composer, click the Quill button, and instantly generate helpful results you can insert into your message: summaries, translations, grammar fixes, tone analysis, rewrites (polite/formal), reply drafts, and even custom prompts.
You can choose the provider that fits your workflow:
- Ollama (local) for privacy-first usage
- OpenAI for fast cloud models
- Anthropic (Claude) for high-quality writing assistance
