My Reviews

Cloudy Sky

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Among the few themes I've found that include the folder pane, and most other panes, in the design. I like all of these, especially the lighter versions. But I've just realized that every other tag in my inbox and folders doesn't work. This may be because I use the tag popup addon to make my tags more usable. But that function is essential to how I use tags. I'd love it if all of these, including the ones I don't see listed anymore, could be adapted to work with tags and the tag popup addon.

Compact Headers

UPDATE! Thanks to responsive developer I am back in business! This is one of my must-have add-ons.

Previous: Version 5.6 shows as incompatible after updating to 139.0.2 (Mac). Can you please update for 139? Version info says 5.6 set to maximum 136.*. Per previous response, I am always connected to the internet and have this addon set to update automatically. Updated, this is definitely a 5-star addon.

Saves precious real estate on small screens. Please update to work with 139!

SpaceApper

Using this on 137.01 and so far it works great, especially since you can color the icons for easier recognition.

Tag Toolbar / Tag Popup

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

DOESN'T WORK ON 139. Any chance the next version could cover the next few updates of Tbird? That would be great. I hate to be without this addon! Thanks in advance! Previous-Fixed for 137. Thanks to developer for the quick update to make it compatible. This add-on is essential for me. It has options that make managing tagged message much easier—especially being able to color the background instead of the words.

Owl for Exchange

UPDATE: I sent my error console information to the developer, as requested, and they released a new version later that day. I've been on 0.7.7.5 since yesterday, and so far, my inbox has stopped going blank. Thanks to beonex for being responsive.

Previous review: After updating to 0.7.7.2, all the messages disappeared from my inbox. To see them, I had to switch to another folder and back. As soon as I scroll, they disappear again. Invites from calendar keep coming in but I cannot dismiss them. I saw your response to another user, and updated to 0.7.7.3. I am still having the same problem.

Previous Colors

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It was not working for me at all. I read the post from SadFirefoxUser and looked at my settings—I had "Never" selected. I changed it to "only with high contrast themes" and so far, that seems to work.

Provider for Exchange ActiveSync

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This finally got my Outlook calendar to sync with Thunderbird.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.14).

Account Colors

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is essential, especially since updating to 68 broke my other relied=upon addons. For some reason, size and front style selections do not work on the From column, though.

Colored Folders

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I need this to work with Phoenity Icons, which it does not. I tried the link to the support site, but there doesn't appear to be anywhere to file a bug report on that page. Fix the problem and this will be a 5-star addon.

Essential add-on, and it has always worked smoothly and easily.

Theme Font & Size Changer for ThunderBird

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a must-have for me. Works great on 60. But when I tried the latest update, I was back to unchangeable mice type everywhere. So I had to go back to 60. Please update for 68+! This is a great add-on.

QuickFolders (Tabbed Folders)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on is one of the best things about Thunderbird. I've never used the categories feature, but decided I'd give it a try today. But when I try to add a new category, it just won't take. Everything else works perfectly. Categories would make this add-on even better, so I hope the next update will have that ironed out?

Phoenity Shredder

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Looks great in TBird 38, but it doesn't seem to work with Persona Switcher, as noted. Fix that and I'll give it 5.

Growl New Message Notification

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It keeps popping up a notice that says it can't be used until I install "Growlnotify Extra," but there is no add-on by that name to install. Unusable. (Thunderbird on OSX)

LastColour

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for this! The way Thunderbird handles color has always been a pet peeve of mine and this app, as advertised, makes it easier!

QuickFolders (Tabbed Folders)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This adds some important functions to Thunderbird. After updating to to TB 17.0.2 yesterday I had an error problem. By this morning, I already had the fix. Great job, great app! Thanks!

Noia Fox

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have been a huge fan of this theme for years. But I just did the update and now I can't get to all the options. When I open the preferences, they are all there for a fraction of a second, but then the top portion is gone and there's no way I can get to it! Please fix it! (MacBook Pro, Snowleopard, FF 12.0).
Thanks for your continued work on this.

ADDED: Thanks for your response. I did post a screenshot as you requested. I have not been able to check add-ons yet, but I will do that as well as soon as possible. I have no doubt this is an easy fix one way or another.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0.1-signed).

Rainbowpicker

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This would be very useful in Thunderbird, but does not work in any version, including 5. (Get it to work there and I would happily give it 5 stars.)
