Awesome! Works exactly as advertised. This functionality should be included in Thunderbird by default.

I was sad to see that this no longer works in Thunderbird 14 and it doesn't seem to be actively maintained. Fortunately, it was an easy fix. You can get a compatible version at http://www.shroomery.org/ythan/habul_fixed.xpi.
*Please note that I am not the original author of this addon and this is an unofficial release!* If you are uncomfortable installing an addon which has not been reviewed by Mozilla, you can make the fix yourself. Just add the following to line 71 in habul.js:
var msgComposeService = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/messengercompose;1"].getService(Components.interfaces.nsIMsgComposeService);

This is a great extension, but as some people already mentioned it is not compatible with Thunderbird 3.0. I created an updated build which you can get at http://www.shroomery.org/ythan/habu-1.8.6.5a-tb.xpi. Please understand that I'm not the original author and this is an unofficial, unsupported release. But for the time being it seems to work well enough for me. :)
Sender Verification Anti-Phishing Extension

This is an excellent extension but as mentioned in other reviews, the DomainKeys verification is currently broken. I got the working code for SenderVerification.pm and query.cgi from archive.org, and set up my own verification server. In the extension settings, set your DK Verification Server to:
http://www.shroomery.org/dkverify/query.cgi
You can also view SenderVerification.pm.txt and query.cgi.txt in that same location to get the source and set up your own server.

This extension makes GPG seamless and easy to use in Thunderbird. It has all the features you'd expect and works intuitively and reliably. Kudos to the author for a job well done.
