As it's been said it's not a complete modification of the default theme. The Buttons have been given a nice purple-améthyst color, quite pleasant to the eye.
Technically the theme is well-built too so don't hesitate to give it a try.
What I'd like to see in a future version is support for the buttons of some popular extensions - of course they still work but they aren't amethyst.
