This addon is very important since it's one of the features Outlook (Exchange) users are familiar with and it shouldn't be missing when they are to be convinced to change to Thunderbird.

So please highliy appreciate an uptodate version (means in my case for Thunderbird 8) and Debian based Linux 64 bit/32 bit (e.g. Ubuntu 11.10 or Linux Mint 11 or equal), Windows 7 and MacOS.

Hi, nice add-on! I think that you can remove the status-icon in the bottom left: leave all add-on settings in Tools->Add-on dialog.

Another feature that would be useful is to have the retract options in right-click menu on own sent-emails, and not only in sent-email folder.

Great add-on!
I tried it with thunderbird 2.0.0.19 on my freebsd 7.1 box, and it worked like a charm.
By the way, actually, it is possible to retract text emails only. and I hope that in the near future, will be also possible to retract mails with an attachment.
Together with this plugin I suggest to use the SimpleStatisics plugin that should be very useful for the TheundeRetract developers.
