The converter works, the other icon appears to not do anything (Thunderbird v45.0). One would like to add these icons not in the composition toolbar or the menu bar, but rather in the bottom one (underneath the subject. Next I would prefer different icons, not a dark grey block.

This extension has long been needed in all Mozilla products, so it’s great to see it for Thunderbird.Clicking the Smart Quotes button in Thunderbird 17.0.7 results in an error as follows.TypeError: button is nullchrome://smartquotes/content/script.js, Line: 93.

EDIT: For some reason, the previously mentioned error no longer occurs and the button works properly.

It would be nice to see support for the quote behavior of multiple languages (e.g., French, German, etc.)
