Someone did a addon from yours : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/recherche-allocine/

but it seems we can't use the two, only one shows up in contextual menu. Can you help having the two working ? Thanks

I had the same problem with this IMDb search add-on that I had with the other one: Downloaded, installed, restarted, but it failed to show up in the list by the little search window. I have 7.0.1, and I notice among the reviews for the other IMDB add-on that (as with me) that one doesn't work with other late Firefox releases, either.

Great addon. Though may i suggest you replace line 22 in searchimdb.js

with this:
searchimdb_url: "www.google.com/search?btnI=1&q=site:www.imdb.com ",

This change will skip the imdb search listings page and jump directly to the result. Therefore saving time! I made the changes to the code but don't see where to upload it.

I thought this extension was good until I found advanced URL builder (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1399) which does so much more!

one of the best add-ons and fast, but like darryl ca said it would be even better with a submenu on the right click screen of the imdb page.

This is a quick way to run searches on IMDB. The options are nice, too. It'd be even better if they could pull some IMDB info into the right-click menu so you didn't have to actually go to the page. That'd be worth another star.
