Good Extension - reminds you if you are using Firefox or Thunderbird as a Limited User or Admin User.

Version 2.2 does not install as of 12-07-2009 from this main webpage.

The download problem at addons.mozilla.org does not appear to have
been fixed yet. Therefore, the new version has also been published to
an alternative download location at

http://isadmin.mozdev.org/installation.html

Look for Alternate Download Location and download the IsAdmin v 2.2 extension.

It works as advertised.

This is a great add-on that does exactly what it says. However, the current update does not install, saying that is is not a valid install package. Please fix! Ty.

Normally 5 stars, but today updating it says download error all the time. Anymore with the same problem ?

Wouldn't run without it !

I use it with DropMyRights for all of my Firefox instances. IsAdmin works great--simple to show if your admin logged in , a must feature for all that want a better security !

+1 for mod_wastrel and keep your work growing up ! i love isadmin !

I use DropMyRights for all of my Firefox and Thunderbird instances. IsAdmin works great--simple to customize display icons and text, very effective.
