Elegant improvement of the new mail alert. The reason why it no longer works is that TB 24 has changed the way the alert is faded out.

For those who'd like to patch this for themselves (at the cost of making the add-on incompatible with earlier versions of TB), all you have to do is edit Blinking Alert's newmailalert.js: Near the top of the file, change both occurences of "fadeClose" into "fadeOutAlert", and near the end of the file, replace the computation of "gSlideTime / gFadeIncrement" by a constant value of 1000.
