Very useful and perfect extension, that implement click 2 call for asterisk, and also permits to open a URL (CRM, ERP, ..) with the information about the caller. I use it with Linux, and works like a charm.
Great extension! Hope to see this extension for Firefox Quantum and Chrome soon!

The plugin works well on firefox 34 and can not be installed on Thunderbird 31. There is a trick: It can be installed after plugin https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/checkcompatibility/ and it works. Please, add compatibility for this thunderbird version

To running under 4.0.X Firefox version you can unzip the .xpi file and change the file install.rdf.
Example to running under Firefox 4.0.1:
- Download asterisk_click2dial_extension-1.5.1-fx.xpi;
- unzip asterisk_click2dial_extension-1.5.1-fx.xpi
- Change install.rdf in line "em:maxVersion=" to "em:maxVersion="4.0.*" ;
- zip the files (ex: zip asterisk_click2dial_extension-1.5.1-fx.xpi *);
- Install manually the Extension;

Using the AMI connection type and autoconnect, this works like a champ! Highlighting or linking recognized phone numbers on pages would make this addon absolutely perfect.
