Addresscontext .0.8.1 works fine for me with TB 5.0 on Windows 7. You have to bump the rdf file of course, but the real trick is to install the extension MoreFunctionsForAddressBook .0.6.4.1. That seems to heal Addresscontext.
I couldn't live without this extension and discovered this synergy by accident.

I hacked on my copy of this so that the "add to list" feature would work on my Tbird version 3. (It required some re-coding, not just hacking the version number)

The problem is, there's no copyright or source license terms included, and I can't figure out how to contact the author. So there's no legal way to "take over" the code and make a new version of it.

Ein Supertool!
Aber leider läuft es ab V3 nicht mehr. Auch ein Austausch der MaxVersion in der xpi hat nicht geholfen.
Ich schließe mich den anderen Kommentatoren nahtlos an: PLEASE, PLEAS update!

This was great while it worked, but there's no version for 3. :-( Unfortunately, Thunderbird will let you add addresses to the address book but won't let you specify which address book to use if, like me, you have multiples, so it's fairly useless. Please update this.
