This extension causes the event.shiftKey, event.altKey and event.ctrlKey properties on the click event of buttons, input buttons and input submit buttons to always be false regardless of if they are held.

The alt key does actually work on its own, but combined with other modifier keys it doesn't.

I almost always submit forms by pressing enter rather than clicking a submit button, and this extension doesn't seem to apply to those. However the Greasemonkey script referred to in another review does, so that's worth a look.

To the programmer: my request is to force sites to give you the "real" url when you use TabSubmit.

Example: "dbopm :: Search results"

If I use TabSubmit - the link is always - http://www.dbopm.com/home/index/40 - I think that's a problem.

= The site makes "site searches" in Firefox's history impossible. Both the title and url are always the same. The title is always "dbopm :: Search results" and the url never changes.

= Search links can't be shared or bookmarked , etc.

= It's good (and useful) to see where you really are.

Thanks for this addon! It works fine in Firefox 13.0.1. By the way, Mozilla.org, this is really dumb: "Please do not post bug reports in reviews. We do not make your email address available to add-on developers." People are not going to create dozens of registrations for all the addons they use in order to make bug reports. So allow us reviewers to choose to make our email address available privately to developers.

Simple and effective, does exactly as described. Even better than the original SubmitToTab, and I didn't even need to refresh the page to start using it!

Thanks i disabled instant search as i hate that feature anyway and its buggy, Nothing to do with your addon, So this addon works great!

Finally! A replacement for SubmitToTab that works properly on Firefox 4! Thanks to you, now I can finally upgrade to Firefox 4!! :) And the restartless is pretty cool, too.
