Why this isn't included in SM or FF is beyond. It has to be one of the most sought after add-ons.
More than a welcome relief, too bad it was so hard to find.

Perhaps my favorite addon ever.

Thanks for developing this much needed option with SeaMonkey. I like closing the tab at the tab rather than over at the end of the toolbar.

It works.
I don't know why this isn't already added by "default"!

Great extension! I like having the option for a close button on each tab. :)
A feature suggestion, could you add an option to have multizilla-style close buttons that appear in place of the favicon when you hover the tab as "5" in?

Thank you. You can do that with a bit of CSS:

.tab-text { -moz-box-ordinal-group:10;}
tab:hover .tab-icon,
tab:not(:hover) .tab-close-button {display:none;}
.tab-close-button {margin-left:2px!important;margin-right:2px!important;}

If you have further questions, please use the MozillaZine support thread.

Just what I was looking for. Moved from Firefox to SeaMonkey but was dismayed by the tab interface. This is great! Thank you!

Thank you so much for resurrecting this! I love the (new?) hover and active option. Kudos!

Thank you! Yes the options are for something I did for years on my Firefox themes and are new to SeaMonkey!

SeaTabX is an essential addon for SeaMonkey. It is great to see available again. This saves me having to manually install SeaTabX from an old .xpi file each time I install SeaMonkey.

You are welcome. I hope more people using hacked backup copies of SeaTab-X will discover this. There are some bugs in the old versions of SeaTab-X which have been resolved!

I don't understand how to do the Hack to get the add tab button at the right side of the tabs. "To move the New Tab button to the right side of the tab strip, you can use this userChrome hack:
.tabs-stack vbox hbox stack { -moz-box-ordinal-group:10!important; }
Please explain how to do this. Thanks

Hopefully this has been solved on MozillaZine!
