Fireclam 0.8 allows you to specify additional parameters for clamscan in the Fireclam preferences.
For example, you can enter "--move=/tmp" of "--remove" if you wish to move or delete infected files, or you can specify "--scan-pdf=no" if you do not wish to have PDF files scanned. Refer to the clamscan man page for further information.

This release adds preliminary Firefox 4 compatibility. Unfortunately though, under Firefox 4 it is currently not possible to perform the virus scans in the background. This means, Firefox will appear to "hang" for a few seconds while the downloaded file is being scanned.
