Seems that Fireclam doesn't work with Fx 29. There is no reaction by downloading test virus http://www.eicar.org/85-0-Download.html

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.1-signed).

Fireclam is compatible with Firefox 29. Without further information I cannot say why it's not working in your case. Please use the support e-mail address if you have any questions.
