SeaMonkey is already prepared to add web-page-provided search engines to its search bar.
The only thing missing is the detection mechanism for web pages. This add-on adds this functionality.
Goodbye! SeaMonkey 2.27 implements this feature. So this addon will soon become obsolete. SeaMonkey 2.27 is currently on Aurora and we updated this addon with the strict compatibility flags on Mar. 19, 2014. Please update to version 0.1.0.1, so this addon will be automatically disabled after upgrading to SeaMonkey 2.27 or higher.
If you're already using one of these versions, just uninstall this addon.

Update: It seems like SeaMonkey 2.27 will be skipped, but the feature will be implemented in SeaMonkey 2.26.1, so the strict compatibility flag is still valid, and the functionality won't be lost.
