ChiudiMail Auth Info Viewer 1.1.5
di Shota
Visualize email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), sender identity, delivery routes, and phishing link analysis with a four-tier severity model. Local-only processing. Fights display name spoofing and phishing.
Informazioni su questo componente aggiuntivo
It analyzes message headers and body content entirely locally — no external network requests, no data collection — and presents a clear, color-coded dashboard directly on the message view.
What you see at a glance:
- A status badge showing the overall verdict (AUTH PASS, AUTH PASS WARNING, AUTH FAILED, PARTIAL, or LINK MISMATCH) with the authenticated domain
- Verdict reason tags explaining exactly why a badge is not green
- A fully collapsible dashboard that stays out of the way until you need it
What you get when you expand:
- SPF, DKIM, and DMARC cards with per-signature DKIM display, alignment status (RFC 7489), DMARC policy color coding, and full raw property inspection
- Delivery route visualization showing each hop from sender to your inbox with time delays and internal/external IP classification
- ARC chain display (RFC 8617) for forwarded messages
- Four-tier link safety analysis: critical (confirmed phishing indicators), suspicious (inherently risky patterns such as IP-address links and IDN homographs), untrusted (unknown external domains, resolvable by trusting), and privacy (tracking pixels, informational only)
- Address comparison showing display name, Header-From, and Envelope-From side-by-side
- Display name spoofing and Reply-To mismatch detection
Trusted link domains: When a link warning appears, you can whitelist a domain with a single click — either inline on the finding row (for single-domain cases) or individually from the domain list. Manage your trusted domains from the add-on settings page with text-based import and export.
Verdict philosophy: Only unavoidable situations (such as legitimate third-party senders like SendGrid) earn a green badge. Anything fixable by the domain administrator or resolvable by the recipient via trust whitelisting stays flagged until the action is taken. The add-on never assumes legitimacy for any unknown external domain.
Supported languages: English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Italian.
Privacy: All processing runs strictly within Thunderbird. No network requests are made. No data is collected, stored remotely, or transmitted. Your trusted domain list is stored locally in Thunderbird's own extension storage.
