Hello. I have installed your Firefox addon called Duplicate Tab Bloquer and I find it very useful. However, I've found that when there's a hash (#), after the url, for instance indicating a specific part of the page, the addon doesn't block the same url

For instance, http://www.****/106115.html#106639 and http://www.****/106115.html#107330 would be considered two different pages and not duplicated tabs, while they are actually the same page but with just two different anchors.

Would it be possible to fix this or to add an option to prevent different anchors modifiers to be treated as duplicate tabs?

No option to turn on "no duplicate tabs when typing into address bar".

No option for whitelist or blacklist.

Seems to be blocking all sites from being opened from the address bar.

Hope it gets fixed, because otherwise, this is a great add-on.

It does the job of preventing you from opening duplicate tabs, although giving us the option of the addon making the duplicate active or not would be nice. And on top of that the addon conflicts with another of my addons, I believe TabMix Plus, preventing TMP's session manager from working at all and even causing Firefox to close without any errors.

It does the work, but it should be a good thing to have auto-reloaded tab when the plug focus us on an existing tab.

Will rate 5 stars after the bug will be fixed. It works as expected when using on an existing firefox session, but when the firefox starts and reloads the previous session, or when I load a sesion from the session manager, ALOT of tabs don't get loaded. I've spent several hours to find out that this problem happens because of this extension. It seems like it should be disabled, while firefox/session is loading.
Impatiently waiting for the fix!
Thanx.

I have seen that other people have complained about this. When there are lots of tabs, Firefox becomes slow and, sometimes (more often than it should) doesn't load some tabs (they stay on about:blank). It usually happens when loading a session or after a restart (because Firefox does a session reloading). That triggers this add-on, which promptly clears all about:blank tabs, except one, as they all look the same. It's a problem with Firefox loading sessions, but made worse with this add-on's action, which doesn't wait for the tabs to fully load before cleaning (actually, I don't even know if that is possible, as it's a Firefox problem handling more than, say, some hundreds of tabs). A solution could be to not automatically close duplicated tabs, just new duplicated tabs, with an option to manually trigger a duplicated tabs clean-up.

Better be sure to safe or close all your open tabs if you install it the 1st time.
Because it may be (happend at my private-laptop, but not on the work-laptop) that this Add-On removes all Open Tabs.
Once installed it does exaclty what i want!

Il semblerait que lorsque que l'on ouvre plusieurs onglets en même temps, ils soient tous reconnus comme un seul onglet avec comme url "about:blank".
Il faudrait exclure cette page du traitement par l'extension...

With this addon enabled, when I restart Firefox I lost all my opened tabs. It could be the same error reported by canaglia.putiferio because I have Session Manager enbled too.

I was having some trouble at firefox starting and restoring session didn't run correctly. Then I got your addon didn't allow Session Manger to restore previous session.
