Only 2 reviews for such a useful addon! A few minutes of testing show it works reliably for me on TB 140.7.0esr

Could you consider publishing the code on a git plateform, like codeberg org? It wasn't hard to download the xpi on my browser, extract it and have a quick look at the code, but it's always simpler with a link. Plus you'd have an issue tracker ;)

Thank you for your rating and review! As you suggested I have now published the code to both github and codeberg.
As an FYI, I did not personally program this but coached ChatGPT to do it for me. That's why there were 22 version before it worked correctly!
I'm not a programmer but badly wanted this feature so now we have it!

Please try the newest revision that was just uploaded, version 22 (1.0.22). I had a problem whereby the add-on would not persist once enabled. I believe I have that problem fixed now. Please let me know if you still have issues after upgrading.

I love the idea of this, so it get 4*. However, even though the Strikethrough button shows up on the compose toolbar, it often does nothing. However, disabling it, and then restarting TB, and then enabling the add-on usually makes it work.

I understand your frustration and am very sorry it doesn't work for you. I need to do some debugging but haven't had time yet. I have found that it sometimes doesn't work for me as well. What usually will make it work is turning it off and back on under the Tools/Add-ons... menu while the program is running.
