Save Images
Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle
There is not a better...Heck there is not even a remotely comparable image saving add on or feature in any other browser.
No other tool lets you efficiently save full resolution images from links in thumbnail image galleries. It is as simple as select the links/thumbnails to the full resolution images, right click and select Save-Images' -> "open selected links in tabs", let the tabs load, Select save images from tabs to the right ( with filters set to ignore ad sized images and close tabs after save), and done.
Every other tool I've seen would take such a gallery and force the user to save each-individual-image-as-a-separate-action to get the full resolution linked images....Which on a 10 page gallery is fairly annoying, and on a hundred page gallery is pure torture.
I've been using this add on daily for years on various sites, and it is the main reason I did not ditch Firefox for Chrome in the past 2-3 years of Firefox becoming slow, clunky and unreliable (especially with ~200 open tabs and some sites/scripts).
Now that Firefox has updated to quantum and is fast (and presumably more reliable) I'm left with a tough choice: Live without this add on and hope it gets updated to work on Firefox Quantum asap, or go back a to the last version of Firefox that supports it and live with a clunkier unsafe Firefox.
Firefox's recommended Quantum compatible replacement for Save Images simply can NOT do anything I've come to rely on Save Images for, and is totally useless to me.
Lumox, Please do not give up on updating this add on to being Quantum compatible! It is far too good to simply let it die.
[EDIT] : I notice the add on Snap Links has similar ability to select links on web pages and open them in tabs. Perhaps it could be used as a base for those features of an updated version of Save Images. If you or someone were to add the ability to save images from adjacent tabs, close those tabs, and filter images by size to Snap links, then that would roughly sum to the features I most use from Save images...
